To continue my recovery and get some good endurance miles in my dad, our family friend Paul and me flew into Malaga to spend a sunny week climbing the big hills and pushing the pedals mile after mile. At the moment the best thing I can do is get time on the bike which is not always easy at home juggling school plus the challenges of the weather. Looking forward to some big hills and sunshine.
So March was a good month, ignoring that fact that I got Covid at the start of the month. I have finally had my first full month of not being ill since last September! Glandular Fever has been horrendous but at last I have turned the full corner and have been able to train properly from the middle of March and so far so good. I was able to have great but hard block of training during the Easter holidays so hit the big hills of Derbyshire and at the start of May I am travelling to Spain for a full endurance training block for a week hitting the really big hills! Thank you to everyone for their support over the last few months - it's been tough!
