August, 2021
August has been a busy month and I raced a national mountain bike race in the New Forest but it didn't go to plan when I had a mechanical on the first lap. I was able to resolve the problem and then spent the rest of the racing chasing back on and managed to get to 4th position. I had an exciting day collect new kit and bikes form my Cyclocross race team Garden Shed Uk-Ribble-Sport. I am so lucky to have such fabulous support for the season and as you can see from the picture the kit looks fab! Lastly, I travelled to Scotland last weekend to represent the East Midlands at the Inter Regional Mountain Bike competition. Four of us from the East Midlands raced hard and although we were disappointed with a 6th place I was happy to come second in the last race of the day!
