A couple of weeks ago I had my first mountain bike race of the year. It did take a little while to get into it, it felt so strange and I had to get my confidence back. I pushed on and was happy to take the win.
Two weeks on and I raced again but not so lucky this time. With heavy legs and feeling under the weather I only completed the first two laps before I gave in and decided to stop. On the plus side the laps I did were some of the fastest on the day by a female but I just didn't think I could complete the 75 minute race. With little racing around I am disappointed but hoping I can get some more racing in next month which is a juggle with trying to do my exams at school, until the next time...
