September, 2020
So excited to get some racing in my legs. Last weekend I had a busy weekend travelling to Bradford to race Cyclocross where I came second to my toughest rival and then on Sunday I travelled to Suffolk to race Cross Country Mountain Biking with a really good mixed woman's group and I felt strong to take the win after one hour 15 minutes of racing which is one of the longest races I have competed in. Confidence in my fitness levels is good and I am really looking forward to racing my first national race in six months next weekend.
Last weekend I competed in my first race for nearly 6 months and it felt great to be back! It's been quite hard to train when you don't really know how it's going. There are quite a few cyclocross races now in September and October and even the odd mountain bike race even though that season has finished. I think I will be travelling all over the place to get some racing in but that's ok and it felt really good to take the win.
