Bryony Williamson

Supports all members of the Active Charnwood team in their daily duties.
Administer the Self-Referral Programme.
Refer individuals who are wanting to get more physically active to the First Contact scheme, into sports and activities that may be of interest to them.

Oversees and manages the Active Charnwood Team.
Responsible for developing policies and coordinating the development of sport and active recreation throughout the borough working closely with key partnership organisations.

Oversees the physical activity programmes including Public Health Sport and Physical Activity Commissioning Programme.
Responsibilities include working alongside our Leisure Centre provider Fusion Lifestyle, to deliver GP Referral and Cardiac Rehab Programmes, as well as the Steady Steps Falls Prevention programme.
Lead officer for the annual Charnwood Sports Awards and a member of the Charnwood Health and Well Being Partnership and the Mental Health Forum.

Manages the children's and young people sport and physical activity programmes
Responsibilities include sport and physical activity commissioning projects, overseeing the Active Charnwood Alliance, Charnwood sports grants and Charnwood Sport Awards.

Manages and oversees the older people's pathway including; Steady Steps, Golden Games, and Seated Exercise.
Supports the Active Lifestyle Referral Programme.
Signposts individuals within Charnwood who are wanting to be more physically active to local opportunities.
Supports and develops Ladies Only Sessions, the Choose to Move physical activity program, Inclusive Sport and This Girl Can.

Coordinates Active Charnwood's walking, running and cycling provision.
Manages National Campaign promotion and events.
Manages social media channels, marketing and communications.
Supports the Active Lifestyle Referral Programme.
Signposts individuals within Charnwood who are wanting to be more physically active to local opportunities.
